I love all animals, but I've always really connected to cats. Most dogs have too much energy for me & it's like being in a room full of loud people... drains me in the same way.

Mon, May 12, 2008 - 9:46 AMboth! cats are awesome to chill with, but dogs help me get "out of my head" if you will. My dog is pretty empathic and gets upset when I get upset, which helps me calm down, since I don't want to upset her. Some cats do this too, of course, but I guess dogs just have more social drive naturally.
