Here are some other things that may piss an INFJ:
-People blatantly making out in public.
-Terrible overrated sitcoms such as Family Ties
-Also new sitcoms that ultimately fail in a week with laugh tracks for stupid uncreative jokes -mainly found on FOX
-TNT network- awful everything-i.e. Charles Barkley, Holly Hunter in the Show Saving Grace, numerous and endlessly long comercials
-"Holla Back Girl"
-fake boobs
-people who yell out at you while walking down the street with their friends-all of them in intoxicated states (mainly found on the college scene)
-when people who text-message in front of your face while talking to you
-when people who do not return calls
-when people's voicemail box is full-How does that happen?!
-people who blindly follow religion, people, beliefs, etc.
-people who settle for the norm
-people who do what every one else does
-being told what to do-then again, who does?
-people who absolutely are dependent on their friends/girl/boy friend to do things with-they can't do things or go to places on their own
That is all from me for now. Feel free to comment.

Re: Some other things that may piss off an INFJ
Fri, July 31, 2009 - 12:20 PMYour post on what INFJ's think is attractive got me thinking about what I also dislike. Since the list of things I wrote for disliked things was longer than the list of liked things, I decided not to post it so as not to be too pessimistic. But as you're asking for it, here it is:
- People who have an aversion to 'weird' or 'not normal' (within reason of course, but as long as the person is genuine, it doesn't matter. Some people are weird but in the 'the Columbine killers are my heroes' kind of way [and yes, I've met someone like that])
- People who have knee-jerk reactions to things
- PEOPLE WHO REDIRECT ALL THEIR NEGATIVE ENERGY INTO OTHER PEOPLE (human beings are not emotional punching bags!)
- Disingenuine people (shockinly common)
- People who lie so frequently they don't even realize it
- People who lie to themselves (again, without realizing it)
- People who are devoid of philosophical thought (these people are immensely common, the best you can often hope for is someone who will at least listen)
- People who harass and grief you about who you are
- Materialistic women who pick men based on their net worth, ability to follow orders, and handymanship (within reason - it's perfectly natural to have standards, but judging a potential partner based overwhelmingly on those factors is deplorable). This comes off as a tad sexist but you'd understand if you met my step-mom
- Men who pick women based solely on appearance and vice versa
- People missing the empathy 'module'
- Alcoholics, lol
- People who overintellectualize things and miss the 'heart' of something, or perhaps people who rely too much on external sources of information and don't actually generate their own ideas (this is actually much harder said than done in today's world)
- People with black and white thinking
Of course, an important note is that I don't dislike the person, I just dislike that particular behaviour of the person, so I'm not as much of a misanthropist as my post may lead one to believe... -

Ah, there's the INFJ! I notice that other INFJ's, including you Erik use the word dislike rather then hate or other intense words. I do the same I wonder if it comes from our desire to be genuine and when we really look at something in an intense way it is never really as black and white as it looks - it seems instead to be shades of gray. I also usually use the statement that, "I am not judging the person but the behavior" which I see you also notice is a very important distinction.
I don't feel comfortable with putting more energy into a person/relationship/conversation then I'm getting back from it or people who are very disrespectful or intense and judgmental against another. Most things are just preference for me but those are the two things that really trigger my issues. Most especially since I can often feel that the arrogance and judgmental-ness is a shield for feelings of insecurity and that throws so many energy curves at me I'm not sure which one to react to first.
