In sync with the movie thread, I think it'll be really interesting to see what some of our favourite reads are. I'm curious to see how long this might be, too!
Here are a couple of my recent ones:
Harry Potter
Something Borrowed
Something Blue
Baby Proof
Shopaholic series - comic relief, hilarious
Feel the fear and do it anyway - LOVE
The Master Key system - started it, so far it's great!
Self-Esteem
The feel the fear guide to Lasting Love
You can heal your life
Dead poets society
Books by paulo coelho
Books by nicholas sparks (fairly predictable but I find it's a nice kind of predictability)
Books by jane austen (usually like her style)
Fictional diaries & memoirs and some non-fiction (ex. Anne Frank, obvious choice I guess) - I just love reading people's candid thoughts/feelings.
Fables and fairytales (non-disney)
These are just a couple of my more recent reads that I have around me. I have a hard time recalling other ones, though there are tons of them!
I also love poetry and books on metaphysical subjects and healing.

Re: Books that INFJs love
Sun, May 11, 2008 - 1:20 AMOne of my favorite books of recent was Birds of America by Lorrie more.
It is a short story series that has a lot of spiritual messages in it.
It is freaking Hilarious!
Sometimes Moore sacrifices characterization for her brand of humor, however the humor is well worth it.
And their are some rather parts that are rather violent.
But ultimately the book has a lot of vulnerability about it.
Definitely a must read!
I'm not an INFJ but It still counts.

Re: Books that INFJs love
Sun, May 18, 2008 - 6:42 PMif you don't mind sci-fi/fantasy...
orson scott card is one of my all time favorite author - his characters really come to life. More specifically, read speaker for the dead and alvin the maker series.
frank herbert's dune series is also very good... but if you read it, read up to children of dune at the very least since i feel that that was one of his best. It's a bit cloaked and you might miss his objective until the end.
robert heinlein is also one of my favorite, simply because his novels make me question my beliefs. whether i believe what he says or not, it's always good to second guess any assumption of right and wrong.
in a completely different genre - 7 habits of highly effective people is among one of the most inspirational and resonating book i've read as well. not something you read once, nor read through and forget.
