I'm into the MBTI test. It seems like each time I google the best matches for an INFP, I read something different. I dated an ESFJ for quite a while and we just didn't work together very well. It wasn't a proirity for her, while it was for me.
Do opposites or similars attract and harmonize better? I read an INFJ lady and INFP man was an easy yet interesting match.
Do any of you ladies have any real life experience dating an INFP? Do you think it made a difference or are relationships more of a case by case thing?

Fri, May 16, 2008 - 1:06 PMInterestingly enough, supposedly the best way to find your match is to find a partner with the same second letter as you, but opposite for the other three. So if you are an INFP.. your match would be ENTJ. The only girlfriend I had was INTP, and at the time I was ENFJ(now INFJ), and we worked out PERFECTLY together. Didn't even know that relationships would be best if the other three were opposites. But the theory is that if you are different S/N you won't have very much to talk about because N's are more abtract than concrete and S's hate philosophy/abtract/theories.
But honestly, it also boils down to how well you and the other person are compatible regardless of MBTI.
